Jerome Henderson

Jerome Henderson,61, was released from his earthly duties on April 3, 2009 at the Saint Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on May 22, 1947 in Paris, KY to Rebecca Warfield and the late Anthony Henderson. Jerome was a graduate of Paris High School in 1966. At a young age he gave his life to Christ. For many years he was an employee of the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
 
Jerome is survived by his mother, Rebecca Warfield as well as a devoted uncle William Warfield and two loving aunts, Mrs. Elizabeth Pierce and Mrs. Mary D. Black. He is also survived by his devoted children, Jackie (William) Wilson, Jerome Kenneth (Jennifer) Henderson, Melinda (Chad) Haase and Anthony Jerome (Pam) Henderson. He also leaves behind his twin brother, Joseph (Vanessa) Henderson (PHS '65), his sisters Laura Warfield, Cherida Warfield, Lisa Warfield Johnson, all of Paris. Sisters Teresa Henderson, Cheryl Jones and Patti Henry all of Lexington. He also leaves many wonderful grandchildren; Shelby and William Avery Wilson, Jayden, Jenelle, Jaelle Henderson, Chazerae, D’Markeo, Daidrien and Naveah Taylor, Arianna and Akiree Henderson.
 
He will be missed by a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives. Jerome was greatly loved by his family and friends and will forever be in our hearts.
  
Pallbearers were Tyrone Tucker, Ronnie Mack, William Emerson, Clyde Marks, Wilbur Gay and Clarence Allen Black. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Higgins, Langston Thomas, Gregory Mack, Byron Tally, Clifton Garrard, Phelan Crooks, Donnie Connors, Ronnie Chenault, Charles Watkins, Eugene Watkins and Burt Edwards.
